Summary: A lot of unfair criticism
Comment: After reading most of the reviews, I think I should say at the beginning: no, there is NOT a large amount of makeup, the brushes ARE low-quality, and the case IS smaller than I expected. However, I don't know if I've ever seen the variety of makeup available in one set that is in this one, and the value was good. If your skin doesn't do well with powdery makeup, then this is not for you, but after seeking out a few people, Sephora products are known to be a bit more powdery anyway. I guess it depends on your complexion. My wife for one was thrilled with the set, and the shades she doesn't like, we simply won't buy again. I think this is an excellent way for a lady to experiment with different shades and looks. And for the record, I've never seen a supposed 'high-quality' make-up brush...only overpriced ones. Most of them are brittle and lose bristles.

Summary: Sephora Ultimate Blockbuster - Collector's Edition
Comment: I bought for my wife and she loved the compact size and variety of shades. I bought thru amazon because it was FS. I was going to buy thru sephora but had to wait because of OOS so chose amazon.

Comment: i am a huge sephora fan so it was a big disappointment when i received this kit as a gift, it was very flimsy and the brushes were so cheap i threw them away, also the colors were hard to blend and had almost no staying power, i accidently dropped it one day and it broke so i had to return it luckily sephora is so amazing i got a store credit...
